Default IE Hack

I'm having an issue with one of my DIVs. If you view it in firefox/safari/opera the DIV appears to be in the position where I want it to be. The problem starts when I view it in IE. The DIV is too far to the left... I'ved tried the whole thing with <!-- [If IE] --> hack but it doesn't seem to work? Unless I'm doing something wrong.

What can I do to make it work properly in IE?

You may use the asterisk trick:

css Code:
color: red;
* color: green;

Red in all browsers, and green in the Internet Explorers.

You might have the IE double margin problem.
