need some help here

i got this template working perfectly in firefox 3 but some divs wont show in ie.

div id: bar and bottom arent displaying.
what can i do to make them show?

In this case it's not really IEs fault so much as it is the style sheets for not properly defining where everything should be going. If you need a reset, use one, but don't rely on * to set specific margins - Go through and reformat your style sheet so the browser knows exactly where everything is supposed to go. How wide is this? What are its margins? Where should I put the background picture? on the left or right? You're leaving a lot up to the browser to determine, and therefore it's going to render differently in different browsers. Be specific.

It is way way off in opera as well. You gonna need to rethink how you wrote that. A couple things.

* { margin:0px auto; border:0px; padding:0px; }
is all wrong if you are going to use that make sure its margin:0; not margin:0 auto; that trys to center everything and will break others for sure. also dont put border in there. Or better yet avoid it all together.

height:100%; - doesnt work.. dont use it.

word-spacing:65px; - remove that. try to never use word-spacing, same for letter spacing. will help with different browsers.

those few changes should fix a bit.

if i cant use word spacing or line spacing, then how would i evenly space out that list in the navigation?

This tag in your code
opens and never closes. Close it or remove it and give your ul-tag the id instead. That would be the first step ...
