Guys, using a permissions system can handle all of this.

Using a permissions system, this gallery can be flexible enough to keep it so strict to that only the main user of hte site (administrator) can upload files, to being loose where users can register and keep their own galeries, or even looser and letting guests do uploads too.

Sure, one minute. As soon as I figure out how to get chatzilla to work.

Tonnes, just do a google search of 'web based irc client'.

Or if you're running firefox, you can install chatzilla into FF instead of installing a completely new standalone program like mIRC.

Nice. I will have to take a look into chatzilla. I downloaded mIRC, but I am on the evaluation copy for now. Something already built into firefox... talk about 1,000 times better :D

mIRC isn't free anymore? That's what rhymes with hay.

Everything has bugs codefreek. If you're not a huge IRC fanatic or you're just trying to get on for one channel (such as talkPHP) it should work just fine.

If ongoing bugs bother you, you will have a hard time with this project. That bug list is actually very small, you should see the MySQL bug list.

A co-worker recommended having our project management hosted at Accelerating Software Development | Assembla. It is completely free and works well. It includes team tools (chat, ect), source control, bug tracking and more. For a full list of features, Tour: Plans | Assembla

I have set up an account and am playing around, I'll have more on it tonight.
