I agree! Especially if you use carbon paper! It makes the backups all that much more efficient.

Nah, I've always been a fan of the "No trees where harmed in the making of this product, but billions of electrons where horribly inconvenienced" approach.

I do my part, most of my conservation is by saving toilet paper (I use both sides). So I don't care for carbon paper.

You gots to lighten up a little bro. I realize you're trying to keep this as professional as possible, and for my part in being a twit I apologize and will try to restrain myself. We're just having a little fun though.

I agree, code. We are getting things done slowly but surely. I personally think we already have our answer. Now its up to WildHoney & either Kalle or myself.

drewbee, it is up to the vote!
as i said i think only of the best for the Dev-team and no announcement has been made yet about anything. me and Kalle and wildhoney are talking about how it is going to turn out and also drewbee you could have offered to help out as a head manager but you didn't so let me do the duty i asked for and don't try and run me over. Respect the ways i am trying to make this work as it is not my first time organizing this kind of thing as it is my real day job so once more
use vote section for vote discussions and here you can talk about new things about the path of the project thank you
EDIT: and how it it is going to turn out is the votes by the Dev team which is all of you and the project managers and consults

I am not trying to run anything over here. If you want respect, you have to give it. Simple as that. And personally, while I appreciate what you are trying to do, you need to find better ways in communicating it, and not trying to force people to tell them what to do. You are going to end up turning people away from this project because of your attitude.

From an outsiders perspective, it looks like you didn't know who was doing what, and were waiting for someone to step in and say "Right, we're going to do this, person XYZ you start doing this...".
Then again, that's just my opinion

Alex there is already been handled out status to people but we have not yet given any work as we do not have anything to do yet it will all start soon as we get some things in order or at least i will try to assemble a working team and not a waiting team. so please wait :) and also thank you for your opinion

I never said that there weren't any statuses, I just said that it seemed like people were waiting to be told what to do.
So far all I've seen you guys do is - Decide to make a photo gallery on a custom framework
- Work out who is interested in working on the project
- Start talking a little bit about the coding guidelines / a brief overview of certain aspects of the code
Talking about what you are going to do is a good thing, although you should be discussing how you want the application to be structured.
E.g.:
Are you going for an MVC style setup?
Will each 'page' have it's own file in the root (e.g. index.php, login.php, register.php)?
How are you going to structure the filesystem?
Are you going to use a template engine?
If you are going to wait for Adam to return before starting coding, then at least work out exactly how you want this product to work (From a coders point of view, not an end users).
Take the initiative

You can gladly address your pointers to everyone as i have tried to get everyone in to focus what needs to be done before we can get the code started and i just got allot of flame..
Information to the developers in the team [READ]
so yeah we will probably wait for Adam for some reason

Why?
Do we really need project tools to get going?
This is a volunteer based open source project. We're not trying to cure cancer. Does anybody even have a logo? An idea of the features? Coding standards, ya ya ya... okay, there's a basic outline on the google code site. Start with that, refine it as you go. What else needs to be done? There's always something to do.

delayedinsanity i can make a page on google code site or etc.. but it's hard to get people interested in the path i choose for this project you only get flamed
so yeah it's great that you guys put some fire under everyone so they start thinking :P
[everyone wants to start in a different way thats why we don't get anywhere]

I believe I've told you this more than once. Your the leader, not the tallier. Just make the decisions and start, you could do this in a day or two if you do that.
