Hey Everyone,
I've recently been pretty pretty busy working on the new personal website of mine/portfolio and i'm looking to get some users opinions. I am a web developer who primarily focuses on PHP/MySQL and Web design/development. I've been out of the field for a while now and have recently decided to pick myself back up and begin doing the web development thing again.

You can find my website at MichaelFrosethdotCom The design is custom. I'm in the process of rebuilding my portfolio as I have lost a lot of work when my computer/server crashed. I appreciate you guys taking the time to read this thread and checking out my portfolio. All critique is welcome (good/bad).

I'm having trouble pulling up your site. I'm getting a Server Not Found error in my browser.

hmmm, thats weird. Anyone else having this problem? Loading fine for me it seems.

Nope mate, I can ping(cmd), tracert(cmd) and call it up in all my browsers perfectly.

Layout wise, I am feeling a very strong URGE to scroll to the top so see some kind of banner. This might be a good or bad choice but I myself find it rather puzzling.
I really love the vector shape on the left-top (to the bottom) background, big fan of that.

There is also (in my browser - FireFox 2.0) a whopping whitespace between the title of the post and the real content. About 50px if I am correct.

Next to all that, I like it! You've got some good personal style... as for the pictures. :-P

Usually it's a DNS problem. Not Mikes or ReSpaWN's. Probably a cache. Sorry I'm busy and I cannot explain more. :/

That was my first instinct as well when the page loaded, I found myself scrolling the mouse wheel up.

Site looks good though, like the color choices :-)

Thanks a lot everyone, I'm glad to hear you guys are liking. I am working on implementing some sort of banner and a few other features. Hopefully I can get this to work within the week.
