Hey,

Recently finished developing my social networking site, well, i say finished, majority of it is done. The rest is in the works.

It's taking a long time to get to where it is today but i think it's worth it.

Hi,

Just taking a look around your site now and so far it looks very nice. One problem I have come across though is with the login.

When I login with an incorrect password, I am redirected to this screen:

Edit: Changed image to a link as it broke the post :(

When I try to login on that screen (with the correct or incorrect details, or even leaving the details blank) the login button changes to "Logging in" but nothing else appears to happen.

Other than that, looks good so far :)

Another potential problem that I noticed is that your Terms of Service (displayed when registering) contains the follow passage:

I was probably looking in the wrong place but I couldn't find these 2 links anywhere.

Also, a suggestion if I may :) It might be worth implementing a search / filter system of some sort on your Member List (http://www.srevspace.com/memberlist/1) At the moment it stretches to 34 pages and doesn't appear to be sorted in any order (order registered?) which makes it very hard to use :)

Perhaps you could put a search / filter (ie, view members whos names begin with A|B|C|etc) on /memberlist which at the moment displays a member not found error.

I'm still digging about the site so I'll post more ideas as I go :D

Another small idea. When logged out, at the top of the page it has:

Perhaps hyperlink "Login" to the login screen or change the "Login to enable.." message to a "Login | Join" menu instead.

I mention this because I tried to post a comment to my profile as a Guest and recieved an error telling me to login but couldn't find a login link anywhere on that error page

When viewing your own profile, if you try to add yourself as a friend you get the following error:

This should probably read "You cannot add yourself!" or "You can't add yourself!"

Anyway, i managed to make the login page look a bit better while making the "Login" as a guest menu into a link (on every page). The member list is sorted in terms of registered, umm, in terms of searching, we are adding a search engine to it at a later date. Thanks for spotting the "Contact Us" part, we are going to implement that as soon as possible.

ncie website i think u have to add "search"
like when someone want to search a friend in a specify country or name , age ....

Well, there will eventually be a search feature, as a little update; we have a contact us feature now and the "Friends" tab is now fully functional.

good bcz search is very important in that kind of social websites

It's also the most difficult i'm afraid.

I'm fully capable of doing it, it's just finding the time to do it on top of all the other tasks.
