Didn't work at first but saved the file with a php instead of html and it all worked fine.

seeding an input text field with a string

If I have a string e.g. $podname and it = "abc123"

How would I get an input textfield to use this as it's 'init val'
in an html form?

Please please help!

just found out my server doesn't have php5 and doesn't plan to for months.
