You could also do it like: $sql = 'UPDATE `news`...
You could also do it like:
$sql = 'UPDATE `news` SET `valid` = '1' AND `cat_id` = '{$cat}' WHERE `id` IN ('{$ids}')';

I agree with you both it looks a bit stupid.....
I agree with you both it looks a bit stupid.. Maybe instead of taking it all away you could possibly make a different border all the way round or something... only a suggestion!
