Thanks, but ideally I would like to use it without wsdl. I managed to figure it out, it was quite easy but the ZF docs are not the best :(

So the schema you propose is that for tv show only?
If so it looks ok, I would change 'parent series' to be tv_id

I think it can be done with Lucene from Zend...

I think it can be done with Lucene from Zend Framework. You dont have to use the MVC framework you can just use the library.
