We have finally got the Tutorial Section here up and running. You can view the tutorials here:

In order to become a Tutorial Writer here at TalkPHP.com you must follow this link: http://www.talkphp.com/profile.php?do=editusergroups

That link can also be found via your UserCP under Group Memberships. Once you have applied for the position of Tutorial Writer I will allow you in the usergroup and then you will be able to create new tutorials.

As of now all tutorials will be moderated before they are viewable to everyone else.

Once you write a tutorial, please base the looks or format off of this tutorial: http://www.talkphp.com/showthread.php?p=335
Also feel free to attach PHP files with a complete working script of your tutorial.

If you notice any problems inside the tutorial area please let me know in this thread. Any suggestions may also come in this thread and are very welcome! Help us build up our tutorial section.

If anyone has any suggestions please feel free to post them here.

I think it'd be more helpful to print a message like "Your tutorial has been submitted and is waiting for approval", when somebody posts a new tutorial. Its just to avoid confusion.

and also it might be good if user has the option in control panel(might be there which i am not aware of), to see if something is pending to be approved, just to see what's going on.

Why is the Tutorial board not visible via the board index?

It acts as a forum now, but I plan to make it more SEO friendly and hopefully eventually you won't even be able to tell that it uses the vBulletin Forums.
