FLEX TIME. Flex Time sets aside two hours every other week for students to explore something new. This new experience may e anything from attending a modern dance or music class to participating in a debate or attending a science fair. Volunteer mentors and tutors from the community direct the special sessions and serve as mentors for the students. Errante developed the We Can Do It Program as part of a collaborative effort within the city of Norfolk to help all children succeed -- the Norfolk Youth Network. The network consists of six agencies: the public schools, public health office, social services office, the Community Services Board, Juvenile Services Bureau, and Court Services.
