Default I think I screwed up...

Hi,
I think I screwed up royally. I uninstalled Wampserver to upgrade because it said not to install over an older verion. I renamed the existing directory (from WAMP to OLDWAMP) and installed the new Wampserver, thinking I could move the db back and that the new Wampserver would take over where the old Wampserver left off.

No way.

Now I just want to be able to "read" the MySQL tables (i.e., open them up for export to CSV or whatever). Is there any software that will directly read a MySQL .frm (table) file??

Thanks,
Dave

I found this after a quick Google search:

Finally, start mysql service and see, the tables are replaced with old columns, but sure, without data.
Some say it worked, some say it did not. I think it is worth a try.

Good luck!
