Default [Sakakuchi] Seeking mentoring in PHP

[Why it would benefit me]
I often have questions regarding some programming techniques - or how to do something best / security questions. In the Forum it always takes quite a while - and then it takes a while again till I answer.... When you can discuss right away it's just simpler.

[My Skills]
I have been programming PHP for over half an year now. I can code Basic, JS, and HTML/XHTML/CSS (not coding actually) and starting of with C++.

[future intentions]
Improving my PHP-skills (don't get what I should write here?! Projects or in Generell???)

[why I want to be a skilled coder]
Coding makes me simply happy. I want to earn my money one day with it.

[contact details]
I don't want to make my IM/e-mail and stuff public. Just PM please.

[language]
mother tongue is German, but I talk a good english and it does not matter wheter the mentor speaks english or german

[other]
I would highly appreciate the help of an person. I normaly don't have questions about certain functions or stuff (thats what php.net is for) nor any questions that can be answered by google. I could provide quick graphic jobs in return (also bigger ones - depending on how much sparetime I have available.

THX alot for any repliese.

I'm actually unsure wheter I should answer to an mentor - or make a new thread? Maybe make it more clear in the Sticky. And I would think it's an good idea to put the mothertongue of the mentor/mentor seeker to it, that would make communication between mentor and mentooring simpler (when they both talk the same language).

Hi Sakakuchi

Just thought I'd drop you a quick line to let you know what I'm upto (just to keep in touch really).

I've got my hands on some tutorials and books and will be moving through them to get up to speed and attain a better understanding of the basics.

That way I can move on to the subjects Im really after learning which is Search Engines.

Any questions or want to say hello, just give me a shout.

Cheers

Dunc

PS have you approached anyone else within the mentoring forum to join a mentored group, if not I'll ask when I see new ones.
