Hello, I'm Hershey!
My name is Marc Hershey and my interest in PHP is unbelievable. I have been working with PHP for over 5 years.
I don't have much of an imagination so I'm not that good at creating my own scripts that "have been created before." Other than that, if someone gives me an example, I can almost always create it.
I am also interested in .net and HTML/CSS. Other than that, I play around with all kinds of other scripts.
I recently found this website so I started reading all the topics and what not so I decided to join this to maybe learn a little bit more and most definitely help other newer members (like myself) learn new points of view and make life easier with PHP.
I am quite interested in this forum, so I would soon like to talk to the administrator of this forum if there was anyway I could purchase this site. So lets hope things work out. I hopefully can purchase the entire website, but if that's not possible, I would definitely love to earn my way into the administration team or at least just thoroughly help this forum to my fullest extent.
More about myself; Again, my name is Marc Hershey. I'm 18 years of age. I live in the United States, currently living in Kentucky but with my job, I travel quite a bit. I do have a girlfriend, soon to be engaged (Just waiting for the best time). I have been living on my own, traveling with my job ever since I was around 16 years old. My job? Well, when I was about 16, I worked with my father in Server Administration for Bardstown Cable, which was the cable and internet service provider for my hometown. Then as soon as I turned 18, I started working for Insight Communications as an IS Tech Engineer. My main job was to design and implement T-1, Frame Relay and other network connectivity initiatives. Which was quite boring so I decided to open my opportunities and look for something else to do. Well, I then started as a Tech Supervisor. That job title was a little bit of everything! I loved that job and so I kept it. I am still a Technical Supervisor but the downfall of this job is traveling. I have moved several different cities but now I live very close to my hometown which makes me feel a little bit better.
Anyways, I would love to continue but I just don't feel it's necessary. If you have any questions, feel free and ask any questions. Remember, there are no stupid questions.
Thank you for having me here in the forum.
-Marc Hershey
