Hi,

My name is Cliff. I live in the best part of New Zealand, the West Coast of the South Island.

Having retired from a lifetime in the Printing Industry (graphic design) I have taken up dabbling in websites. I found out about php and was hooked. I have managed to do some (for me) quite smart things with a couple of pages (probably 'old hat' to any experienced php'er). But anyway, it has whetted my appetite for learning more about php, and this seems like a great website.

Yeah, the people in TalkPHP helped me a lot to know more about PHP and getting better programming.

It's a lot like a struggling neighborhood pub around here; it's quite friendly most of the time, when a bar fight does break out everybody gets their hands dirty, and we're only open two days a week most weeks, and they're never the same two days.

Oh and the owner is MIA, we think he could be over fighting in Vietnam, but nobody knows for sure. Welcome to the pub. :)
