Quite new to all this php stuff, have a bit of background knowledge but generally I'm more of a designer than coder, but decided its time to expand my knowledge.

I'll try and post some stuff as well as my adventures with PHP etc. Also might be looking for a coder to help me out with a project. But I'll post some details about that at a later date.

Got any of your work online? I started out doing design and now it drives me wonky. I'd rather program or pull my fingernails off now a days. Always keeping an eye out for contractors though!

Agreed. Anyone look to hire should really take the time to know who they are hiring and how talented they are.

You can save yourself a lot of headaches finding the right person as well as save money.

Heck, I know from personal experience I turned down offers because I knew the person had no sense of what it took to develop a site and wanted me to do everything for free...
