PHP Newbie here !
Hey guys,
Some of you might have seen me around on TF, so I thought I'd pop in and say Hi! I've just started learning PHP, as I had nothing else to do in my holidays. Hopefully interacting with the PHP gurus here would help me go a long way ^^ I have programmed in C/C++ prior to this though (however I won't call myself a decent programmer, far from it), so hopefully learning PHP won't be too difficult :-) I'll see ya around. Cheers |
You'll only have a bit of difficulty learning PHP.
Welcome to TalkPHP Amaresh. Good luck! :-) |
Hey Welcome to the community :-D PHP is pretty much the same as C++ in a lot of ways :-P

Ah. Either way knowing C or C++ is a leg up because the two are almost identical, C just lacks a few of the advanced features C++ has.
|
Hi PixelDawn, welcome to TalkPHP. It's good to see you over here :-)
|
Thanks to everyone, looks I'll be sticking around (to bug all you pros, of course ;-))
|
A nice little pixel art in your avatar, by the way :-) I love pixel art! I've been telling myself I should do it more often, but I don't listen.
|
Yep, I'm quite in fan of pixel art myself, athough I don't have the patience to sit around for hours in PS with the pen tool =P
