Hi to all, I have just stumbled upon this website via the StumpleUpon toolbar.

First impressions are rather good, seems like a really nice community, though I must say a few pages are taking a long time to load and I'm on a fairly decent 20Mb connection.

Anyway, that aside I hope I can bring some of my knowledge to this community and learn new things from it.

If you need any help with the website or server then I'll only be happy to help in whichever way I can!

Welcome to the community, Dav. Yet another guy from Manchester, I see! Some people have reported a little slowness on the website, but others say it's super fast so I'm not sure what to make of it. Maybe there is an issue somewhere. Which pages appear slow?

Hey, yeah looks like I am another Mancunian. To be honest it ran slow whilst signing up and after that so I would say all pages appeared slow. Though just loading this one was fine.

Do you know what speed the port is running at? My site was once on a 10Mbps port and I had similar problems until I upgraded to a 100Mbps port.

Is the site on a shared server?
