Default Greatings From vujsa

Just wanted to say hello to everyone. Was recently contacted by the site owner and thought I'd have a look around. The website seems to be very well administered and maintained.

Anyhow, my name is vujsa. Don't worry, it isn't supposed to be pronounced so you didn't get is wrong.

For a while now I have been a staff member at AstaHost.com a free web hosting service and more importantly a very technically oriented forum that has provided me the opportunity to learn a great deal about PHP. As a result of answering many, many PHP related questions and offering bits of code to the users there, I decided to start a PHP help site.

Se I found that a lot of the PHP websites available were difficult to get help from. Either the information was way too advanced for PHP beginners or the forum was too slow to answer.

I remember I used to get a lot of help from a friend of mine that would go into very detailed explanations that I usually had a hard time following which made the process about like finding a needle in a haystack. The information was good and he was nearly always right but the amount of informations was overwhelming.

So I wanted my sight to have very short and specific answers to questions, answer questions before they came up, and allow users to share ideas and code easily. What I came up with was HandyPHP.com.

While I haven't gotten to the point that I have a busy idea sharing forum, I have managed to help a lot of people with very small scripts for searching components for the Joomla CMS.

Anyhow, I hope that I can enhance my PHP knowledge by frequenting this fine website.
