Default Hello There

Hello all

My name is Dale and i have been looking for a good community to join and talk about what i find most interesting. That is of course Programming. I have taking the time to learn many different languages, including javascript, Ajax, C++, C#, VB, Prolog, lisp and of course PHP, among other langauges, I am studing Artificial Intelligence at University.

I liked this community because there are still things i don't know about PHP and other languages and its always good to get help from other people with the same interests and skills :).

Looking forward to spending time communicating with you all :)

...And we're a right friendly bunch! Which is also a big plus, in my eyes. That's quite a range of programming languages you have under your belt! Quite impressive, if I may say so.

I was taking a look at your 3D work earlier - some good stuff. I've done 3D in the past, but I've never taken it up as a serious hobby, just something I do from time-to-time when I feel like doing something a little different.

Welcome to the community!

I'm very fond of Maxon's Cinema 4D. Though I noticed you use 3DS - very confusing application when I took a look at it. I love Lightwave's rendering engine though, very fast and very good - although I think C4D has really made tracks on it.

I do agree with the confusing part of 3DS MAx, but i guess once you keep trying it out and learning how to use it...just becomes easy as pie

hey m8, welcome to talkphp.

Quite a nice list of langauges there, nice 3D work aswell.

The 3D work i have done has been mostly OpenGL and i sucked at it, getting my brain to think about things in 3d was a task in itself, so i gave up, i know its not really 3D modeling but meh. I have tried C4D and 3D SMax and i do prefer C4D, but im crap at it so i gave up.
With that list of languages you should find PHP quite simple.

Welcome again.

Here's one of my bits of 3D work that I did around a year and a half ago if anybody's interested In fact, I modelled the lamp probably 2 years ago, and then applied the MOCCA bones to it about a year and a half ago in preparation for its animation.
