Just signed up after talking with Wildhoney, I'm Bazza and one or two of you here might know me from TalkFreekace if you visit there.

Anyway, I know pretty much nothing about PHP but I'm supposed to be doing a PHP & Javascript module at Uni this year, although I might change it. If I do go ahead with it though then I guess this place could be a great resource for me to pick up a few things about PHP :)

Anyway look forward to seeing you all around the forum :)

Welcome to the forums Bazza! PHP and Javascript are great directions to go in, I feel, so much happening in the development world. It's all very exciting! Of course TalkPHP will be up-to-scratch with everything.

Hey Bazza`, welcome to TalkPHP. Don't expect a uni module to go too in-depth (if it's a first year course) but good on you for thinking about getting some taught material on the subjects. :)

It's the second year of the course, I still don't think it will go into too much depth but I'm really not too good with any type of code so I know I'll struggle even with the basics so all the help I can get will be a big benefit :)
