linux portable virtual machine
 

i was just wondering,

if you installed linux on a usb disk, couldn't you dedicate that linux installation to being a virtual machine and boot any os wherever you want? ALSO applying proxy settings with something like TOR in linux before the virtual machine for the option of maximum anonymity.

does anyone have any tips or anything about how i would go about making this?
