Simple Facebook question

Someone on TalkPHP recently noted that PHPDesigner is coming out with new version 7. I purchased version 6.2.5.2, which has not been augmented since March.

Well, PHPDesigner's forums are all on Facebook. When I tried to login, it would not let me. Nor would it let me request a new password.

Since I'm NOT a member of FB, my question is, Do I have to be a member of FB before I can access and post to the new forum?
