A question using 2 monitors
I have started using two LCD monitors.
The newer, largest monitor (1920X1600) has a very bright screen with lots of contrast. The older, smaller monitor (1600x1200) has a duller screen, with lower contrast. I have adjusted the second monitor to its best brightness/contrast settings.
All drivers are updated, and I'm using a new 9800GT graphics card with two DVI ports.
The problem is that after viewing the big monitor, it is wierd for my eyes to constantly adjust to the older, duller monitor.
If I want to solve this, I need a newer, brighter unit as the secondary monitor, right?
You could also adjust the brighter monitor to be duller.
Ha! Interesting solution, but the brighter monitor is really great for contrast, colors, etc.
Just looked up specs:
brightness: 450 cd/m2
contrast: 1000 to 1
brightness: 250 cd/m2
contrast: 450 to 1
So, the contrast will always be off.
Ideally get matching monitors.... There never going to match and it will continue to bug you...
