Yes, we use both ASP and .NET at my work. Most of our sites were coded by my predecessor who was an idiot, so we have tons of ASP legacy code. We are slowly rewriting it to .NET.

codefreek 06-20-2009 01:38 AM

Village Idiot,
cool, i Imagen it is quite much to rewrite :P

I work for a non-profit org. I handle everything here thats computer related, I guess that sums it up. Its just a bit challenging since I have to deal with... well everything alone. Its not like before when I used to work for a school. If I cant deal with a network problem I go to the network experts, OS cracking up I go to the OS specialist, MAC is down then... you get the idea. But I like it I guess, working here. I would never have been able to work with these things in an environment where theres a person for every little thing.

Gah where is my option for being an alcoholic? (jupps i see that as a job :D) But otherwise i do see my self as a frontender/designer, even though i recently quick my in-house position and never really recovered back to the field.

I blame it on the summer and nice weather, hard to resist a cold one these days ;)

bryansmith 07-15-2009 06:55 AM

Basically am a programmer but now its not my profession. Am into marketing but will do it for fun as its one of my favourite.
