need beta testers
Not sure where to put this really. I've created (yet another) screenshot application.
I am looking for people to beta test my new program.
What is it: Its a screenshot application. Yes there are many out there but i thought I'd make one too. Its a low memory consumption application that "hooks" your printscreen button. It uses the printscreen but in my next version I am allowing user defined keys. It does have the option to "unhook".
Features: It's got the following features: - MSN style popup. After printscreen is pressed, a msn style popup appears with options for the users. These options include: grayscale, invert colors, watermark, as well as uploading to kalleload, imgpurse, tinypic, imageshack and own FTP
- Uploading to kalleload, imgpurse, imageshack, tinypic through POST request as if you were on their site. The picture is on their servers. This method is kind of slow compared with FTP as it depends on the server.
- Fast image effects. Sometimes we would like to add en effect without needing to open up photoshop/paint. For this reason I've created an imageeffects library which supports Grayscaling, Invert, Birghtness, Gamma, and Contrast. (however only grascaling and invert are supported right now).
- Random/DateTime filenames. Choosing whether you would like the date/time as the filename or a bucnch of random numbers and letters.
- Camera mode: If turned off, prtscr will take a screenshot of entire desktop. With camera mode turned on, you are able to select part of the desktop you want.
If your interested, just drop me a reply. What I will do is make you developer on Google code. Oh, and yes by the way the code is hosted at Google:
skimpt - Google Code
I need beta testers fast so the 3 developers can fix any bugs that come up. (by the way, if your interested in developing let me know)
At the google code website, a stable copy of the program is available. Issues are open so you can submit any bugs. You can also anon. checkout the code and compile yourself if you want.
The instructions are on the front page.
thanks
