Never even heard of it before now, but I signed up. How is your 'language experience' measured, it looks like an automatic process of some sort? Just curious because I know some freelance sites will give you tests to determine your level of experience, and ohloh doesn't seem to.

Its measured like, say I've been contributing to the PHP documentation since January so thats 8 months experince with various languages where my Javascript experince only is 2 months on ohloh because I havn't committed anything with JS before 2 months ago, and so on ;)

I would like to join Ohloh, because I would like to start contributing to a project or two. However, I seem to be having issues connecting to the site.
