I made a game!
http://www.justanotherportfolio.com/2.0 release.zip
I made it in C++ using the SDL API, along with some Windows API commands. Sorry mac/linux users, this wont work for you. I've only ran this on windows XP, but it may work in vista and 98/2000/ME. Gameplay: This is much like Jetman on facebook, you rocket up and try to avoid the blocks. Although I added some things to it. W rockets up, avoid the oncoming bricks. escape is exit The watermelons are berries that alter the gameplay for about 10 seconds. Any comments on the game? ps. If someone wants to try to port it, just contact me. Although I used quite a few windows.h commands. |
nice, I played with SDL some time ago :)
I couldn't run it as wine cound't manage to execute it. What windows apis did you use? SDL is a multi platform library and you could make it available for several OSs only using SDL... |
Quote:
While SDL can make games for many OS's, they still have to be catered to each one and compiled on that platform. |
