Away for a week

Hey all,

As is the nature of my business, I'll be working away for the rest of this week, probably be back here Sunday/Monday time.

Unfortunately, the hotel I'll be staying in hasn't heard of the Internet yet so I'll also be offline :-(

For those who PM'd me about the web design job, add another week on the original timescale :-)

Doesn't even super 6 motels have wi-fi? Anyway, good luck.

Oh goody. :-P Say, did you have to peddle a bicycle for power or what? :-) Even most hotels and motels here in the Netherlands offer wi-fi...

On topic :: Welcome back.

Unfortunately, here in the UK we are a little behind with our technology - broadband coverage is still only at about 70% of the country :-( To show just how bad the area was, the company I was working for has about 20 employees and 1 internet PC that dials up using a 56k modem which they use once or twice each morning to check for emails :o

Don't feel too bad for yourself. I live in the USA and unless you live in or very close to a big town you are stuck with dial-up, just like me.

Holy henna, that kinda sucks doesn't it? I think I can get better speeds using my mobile as a GPRS modem.

Ah well, to conclude this topic, welcome back!
