Default Making money with Adsense

Who here uses Google Adsense?

If so, how much do you make a month?

I've used Google Adsense for two years and still haven't got my first payment!!!!

I'm up to $85.10 right now, and it goes up, very very slowly...

Until recently, I never paid much attention to targeting the ad placements and stuff. Recently I started putting them in strategic places and it seems to be working - relatively.

Same here really. I've never really bothered with AdSense. There's about $150 in there at the moment. Will be using AdSense very heavily on an upcoming project.

I personally dislike AdSense and wouldn't put it on any site that means anything to me - unless they're well integrated. There's a couple or so on TalkPHP somewhere. Not that PHP has a high CPC, and because you're all programmers and so computer-wise, you'll never click any adverts that don't attract your eyes and so CTR is low, too. They're just content-fillers really until TalkPHP becomes large enough to have paid advertising - to which we have a couple at the moment. At least TalkPHP is now into the top 100,000 on Alexa!

For AdSense to succeed you need to target a computer illiterate niche.

Yeah I've almost given up home on adsense, although I know some people who have made decent money like around $30-50 a month, which is pretty sweet.

I'm making $50 a month from Text-Link-Ads alone, and another $30 from an advertising agency. I'll finally be able to cover hosting costs =)

But I'm sure I can make more, I run a PR5 site, I deserve more!

How much traffic does this site get?

I've never really used Adsense before, not enough to get any money from them anyway.

I generally prefer to use banner ads on our sites if they have any advertising.
