Does anybody else find fractals so beautiful?
 

It's no secret that I'm not a big fan of maths at all. But I think when maths comes together with something graphical, it really is beautiful.



I also find the mathematical pattern of the spiralling circle, the Fibonacci number, which goes like: 1, 1, 3, 5, et cetera... is awesome.



This actually all came about with a Digg post I saw entitled, Math is beautiful, and I suppose it is, but it's only beautiful to me when there's an outcome that is something that's not just numbers. This is really the only time I can come to appreciate mathematics.

Those are quite beautiful.

I think what makes them more beautiful is many things in nature follow a similar pattern.
