Default Gamers?

How many gamers do we have in the building? And what systems are your favorite?

I have always been a hardcore gamer and have always been an XBOX fan. Computer gaming is a must for me.

I'm a gamer too - I like all the consoles and should be getting a PS3 when it launches here on the 23rd of March.

I tend to keep off most gaming sites due to the silly negative fanboyism you find on them. But like sites like www.gamesey.com where none of it is tolerated.

Counter-Strike: Source, best game ever invented in my opinion.

I've had a PS3 for quite a while now but it's just been sitting under the dust for months, probably because I've only got one game for it. :p But nevertheless, it's a brilliant machine.

Old school gamer here (aren't we all; read: nintendo & atari). Started back in the PiD & Marathon days with computer games. Also, really got into quake2 for a while, and eventually Q3A & UT when those came out. Favorite game had to be the Myth series that was released by Bungie in the late 90's. I hear that World in Conflict has similar gameplay, but I don't have a sturdy enough system to run that game efficiently right now. I've been trying my hand at CS:Source lately and I think it's alright. I'm mostly looking to pick up a 360 soon so I can play H3.

I've helped beta test some games, specifically- WW2 Online, Sacrifice, and Giants: Citizen Kabuto, and multiple mods and maps for various games.

I used to play CounterStrike a lot of with friends - in a clan and all. That lasted for approximately 2 years - was good fun at the time, we didn't go overboard with it. Every evening we'd have 2 games, 1 at 8 and 1 and 9. We were pretty good as well! But it was more for the socialising than anything else.

I used to be a hardcore Tribes player but that's the only and last game that I was ever really 'into'.

been gaming most of my life, from my sega master system in all its 8-bit glory (Alex Kidd owns all) :D to PC gaming.
Never really been into consoles since i started using my PC to play games, i just prefer the added control of a keyboard and mouse, although i currently hate computers with a passion, they decide when they will grant you the privilege of working correctly and are constantly in a bad mood .. well mine is anyway.

Played CoD1 for a number of years in a team with a few mates, we became pretty good, then when that game died we moved to CoD2 and we took that really serious for a number of years playing in a few multigaming teams with talks of going to LAN in europe, but i personally decided to give it up as i wasnt enjoying it anymore, it became like a job i'd come in from uni stressed usually because of the train and the idiots i have to put up with on it (the rail system in this country really does my head in), then to be greated by playing anything between 5-10 or more matches on CoD2, it just stressed me out further.
currently playing World of warcraft when im not PHP'n or attempting to study :).

I still love Pacman and Ms. Pacman! I used to play Zelda a lot on the N64, but games for me now are a past memory :(:) - I'm not sure which. If a decent car racing game was released - a street racing game with realistic handling and realistic damage, then I'd definitely play that. I was holding out for Test Drive Unlimited but apparently that's pretty duff.
