Default What OS do you use?

What operating system do you do your day to day coding on?

And if you have your own server, what do you run on your servers?

I use Debian etch for my main machine, and on my servers.

I begrudgingly use Windows Vista for my programming, and then both Windows XP and Ubuntu on Virtual PC. I think that it's Cent OS on our dedicated server, but I can't be entirely sure on that!

The only reason I use Vista is because it came with my laptop. I'd like to get into Linux, but I've not yet taken the plunge fully! I'm not into all my techy stuff so Windows really does me just fine. Load up, browse Internet, have a nice chatter, a little coding and some designing whilst listening to music!

...Puuurrrrfiick!

I currently have Windows Vista installed on my laptop here at home/office. Although my uncle has been trying to get me into the whole Linux thing, I am beginning to wonder if I should give it a shout.

Mac OS X (still Tiger) is my local machine, if I need Windows (XP) I can run it with Parallels or VNC into an old Dell laptop under my desk (or reach under the desk and pull out the dell ). My web server running CentOS.

I run Mac OS X (Leopard) on both my MacBook and iMac :). And use TextMate for coding, which rocks btw.

at home: Windows XP on my main, linux debian (well ubuntu, its still a debian distro) on my laptop but thats dual boot with xp too, at work 3 computers, 1 windows xp 1 debian linux and a mac using VNC to join them all together, i hate mac so i dont use it much unless i need it to see what bugs IE on mac has for me to fix. Tried vista once and got instantly annoyed with it and disposed of it
I use vim to edit usually on linux.

Workstation: Windows XP SP2
Home PC: Windows Vista
Home PC (dual): Ubuntu Feisty & Damn Small Linux

I use Linux to test cross platform compatibility , I would use Linux to work on, however my favorite PHP IDE is PHPDesigner 2008 (www.mpsoftware.dk), and it's proprietary to Windows, bummer!
