Foot Locker announced on their blog on Saturday that the Air Jordan IX cheap air jordan shoes "Calvin Bailey" is available now at select locations. As part of the popular Air Jordan IX "Alter Ego Pack," this newly available colorway pays homage to another secret identity that Michael Jordan donned during his first retirement from basketball.
The "Calvin Bailey" features a two toned royal nubuck upper with reflective silver on one of the layers. University gold highlights are featured on the shoe's inner lining, lace holes, and outsole and the one the tongue, which says "Calvin Bailey." "Gary" is also stitched on the tongue, which represents the city that Bailey/Jordan played for and also belies its ties to the colors of the Indiana Pacers.
Originally released in 1994, the Air Jordan IX was a Japanese-inspired style that designer Tinker Hatfield chose for MJ's statue in Chicago. The inner bootie, speed-lacing system and sole all spoke to Jordan's winning qualities, which are carried over into the retroed version of the AJ cheap air jordan shoes IX. The Jordan Retro 9 features a minimalist upper that combines leather and nubuck materials, which looks great on top jordan shoes online of the dynamic-fit inner bootie, internal support straps and one-pull lace locking system.
