need help with status update script
 

hii friends!!!
i am making a social networking web-site and i need some help regarding the staus update script!!!
i mean how it works and what database should i make !!!
please help me out !!!!!

There is a lot to more to consider status update. To update a status it will be simple, just insert a new row in the table. there is another thing about propagation of the update, will the person following them need to be notified about it? or just whenever the followers get on that person's page or on their own feed. This is considering the soc-nets out there, your website might have different dynamics designed for the user. As you can see, it depends on your own situation.
