Default PHP Sitemap

Hello, I have a static website that I would like to create a small php script on that shows a site map of a few directories. I would also like to have it automatically create the XML file that google can use.

Do you know of a script? I have searched the web and found a couple, but they are not exactally this.

I am just looking for some advice on how best to go about this. I am thinking:
  • Search the Root Directory
  • Find the php files
  • compare to a blacklist
  • display their h1, h2 or title as a link to the file
  • create XML file

I have PHP 4.3.x available to me.

Thanks for any advice!

Hi, here is something better: enarion.net/tools/phpsitemapng/

Free Google Sitemaps generator written in PHP, also generates RSS, txt, and HTML sitemap files.

Hope that helps.
