Well if you know all the basics of procedural programming and have knowledge of PHP functions then I'd look into Object Oriented Programming with PHP.

Not sure if you are ready to go about diving into OOP (though some may have different views on when you should start using/learning OOP), if you feel you are decent with the basics I suggest creating a small Article CMS. Content Management Systems can be very different but they usually incorporate a lot of what PHP can do so they are good practice projects.

Learn a framework like Zend Framework, it will help you with OOP too!

I disagree, you should learn all the core basics before learning high level libraries. Frameworks are designed to save you the time that it would take to develop certain things, not learn them.

Start writing programs and learn whatever it takes to get the job done, stick away from frameworks or lots of pre-written code that you don't understand.
