Should I use pre-made CRM script or custom make my own?

I know I can do it with ease, but the problem is time, I have projects to completed, so I cannot work one, many of my clients would like a CRM, so do I knowing how easy it is to keep contact with them via something like this.

And many of these scripts, you must purchase, so I don't feel assed to buy a script when I'm already busy writing my own scripts..

SugarCRM or vTiger your best bets. I recently worked on a very large project with SugarCRM and it was easy to use as well as customize.

Note: vTiger is a fork of SugarCRM

Why is it an exe? It's a desktop client or an installer for the scripts to be loaded into a directory?

SugarCRM an exe? You must've gotten the wrong copy, it's a script written in php freely available at http://www.sugarcrm.com/crm/download/sugar-suite.html

Alternatively you could go with http://www.highrisehq.com/signup

I've used their campfire and basecamp services, excellent.

Edit: you must've gotten their faststack installer! Nay, that is scarcely necessary unless you don't know how to install php script in which case a reevaluation of career choices is in order.
