hi im making a music website , and i want to make a bot to search other websites for mp3 music and put link , name of the music , name of the artist , on the DATABASE

I was looking at a similar thing yesterday:

Enter url, collect mp3 info, use other links on the page to lead to new pages with other mp3 info.

Isn't there also a way to use google for this. I seem to remember there being a google API that would allow you to use there bots and/or database.

Of course I may be wrong on this, as I can't seem to find the information on it.

@normo : thanks but it douesnt give an mp path and collect informations , its just add URLs to DB !!! correct me if im wrong

Yeah you would have to modify it for your own search criterea that you know would pick up mp3's but it's a starting point.
