I've never been good at marketing. I don't even know how others get the "word" out. I know that marketing for the most part works, but is also expensive.

A lot of other boards have been around a long time so they had years to collect members...especially since there were even less forums back in the days...

I think advertising in some kind of newgroups/google group might be a decent idea??

Well you can't advertise a php forum on another php forum. :P

I think it has enough traffic for a php forum.
Other forums are not specified php. They have graphic sections.More people are learning photoshop to design their photos or make signatures rather than programming language.

I think if we manage to make Teams for small projects and then make some advertisment for it.It can attrack lots of users.
And Only users with more 50 post can join the team. So if have more post more users will join this forum.
