Exactly, why do you guys put sz in front of your variables.

This has been covered a number of times before and the keyword here is Hungarian notation. Essentially, a naming convention where the variable's name indicates its type or purpose.

Lol! Chin's up. It's nearly Christmas! It will be down again on the 26th when I realised it wasn't anything to look forward to. I was determined not to get my hopes up too much for a really exciting Christmas, but these Christmas cats just aren't helping.
