Default how do i know whawt class a person is using?

the guy didnt include wehat class he was using to make the project that he did. how am i supposed to know? i've seen alot of tutorials like this where people dont include what class their using.

is this a zend thing? or some form of a framework??

If it is about the SimpleXMLElement class, this one has not to be included, it is a core class in php.
