How do you manage your project so it can be fully functional and ready to be given to the Client?

I create a list of what needs to be done then have my partner do the same, we do all of that, debug, fix what needs to be done and ask out client for input and any additional tweaks. Once it's 130% functional we turn it in.

That's a basic summary.
