Ajax?
Many people here at TalkPHP work with this?
I personally haven't done much with it. But plan to eventually. |
Start at no other place then at prototype
There is nice documentation here: http://www.sergiopereira.com/articles/prototype.js.html |
The prototype library makes it very easy to create AJAX applications. Give it a try and let us know if you need any help.

I would reccomend MooTools for this, It's really useful and you can even use automagic awesome sexy effects to animate the result :o.
|
What do you guys recommend for a beginner like me? I find prototype quite powerful?
|
I would personally recommend Prototype for working with AJAX, and if you need additional effects, you can always use script.aculo.us with works seamlessly with Prototype.
|
I would't reccomend that, lol Karl!
I personally would reccomend MooTools which is everythign you can ever have in one... really sexy effects as well! |
Localhost, we know you would recommend MooTools from your previous comment stating that you recommend MooTools, please keep double posting to a minimum, thankyou.
|
Each to their own local. I can't stand MooTools, I've tried it a few times, and I always go back to Prototype and script.aculo.us.
With that said, I'm quite familiar with Prototype as I have been using it for some time now, so it is hard to switch. |
I like the object oriented pattern of Prototype which is similar to Ruby. :D
