Default Notepad++ Question

I can't seem to get the built in FTP program to work in Notepad++. Not because it's malfunctioning, but because I can't get to the preferences panel.

Before you can connect to any server for FTP operations, you have to create a new profile. Select the
"Settings" button from the FTP toolbar (to be found in the Folders window, it resembles a cog). Then, in the
settingswindow, click the "New" button to create a new profile. Change all fields and values to your preferences
and select OK, or Apply if you wish to change other settings.
I can't find the "Settings" button on the FTP toolbar. I don't want to give up on Notepad++ because of this small inconvenience.

Could someone fill me in? Thanks.

I downloaded the non-beta version and the toolbar is visible. Thanks anyway!
