University of North Carolina General Administration, Division of Information Resources seeks Applications Developer to assist with implementing high quality software applications to customers both within the organization as well as throughout the entire University system.

This individual works closely with analysts to translate functional and technical specifications into high quality working implementations for a variety of projects. Must perform with a high degree of accuracy under time constraints and deadlines. Must have excellent communication and teamwork skills as well as a high degree of self-motivation.

Must have experience developing applications in a web-based, client-server environment using scripting languages such as PHP and relational databases such as Oracle or MySQL. Experience with AJAX and WSDL/SOAP preferred.
