Strange Mod_Rewrite Problem
 

Hey,

I have a really strange problem with mod_rewrite.

So basically lets say i had a url like admin/forum/topic/9-test/1 then for some odd reason user=$1 becomes forums-php.php instead of "admin".

Actually managed to fix it, thanks anyway.

Out of interest and for future reference, what was the problem and how did you fix it in the end?

I guess it came down to 2 conflicting rules, so i guess mod_rewrite got a bit confused by that. So to fix it i just took away on of them and rewrote a bit of php.
