I'm working with a client (whom is a Flex & Actionscript developer) and he's partially built a system on AMFPHP.

I'm only about 2 days into the project and just wanted to see if anyone else on here is or has used it?

I've never used AMFPHP before. In fact, I've never heard of it before you mentioned it. What is its purpose?

It serializes data for transport to/from actionscript. It's sort of like a "framework" that takes the heavy lifting off of your custom scripts and provides a bridge to get data to and fro. Evidently it does a much better job of serializing that php's native functionality which is why my client chose to use it.

Oh. I think I wrote a class like this before. It just formats it all into a string like so:

attr1=value&attr2=value&attr3=value

That way you can read and parse it using ActionScript.
