Anyone Else Using AMFPHP?
I'm working with a client (whom is a Flex & Actionscript developer) and he's partially built a system on AMFPHP.
I'm only about 2 days into the project and just wanted to see if anyone else on here is or has used it? Thanks jw |
I've never used AMFPHP before. In fact, I've never heard of it before you mentioned it. What is its purpose?

It serializes data for transport to/from actionscript. It's sort of like a "framework" that takes the heavy lifting off of your custom scripts and provides a bridge to get data to and fro. Evidently it does a much better job of serializing that php's native functionality which is why my client chose to use it.

Oh. I think I wrote a class like this before. It just formats it all into a string like so:
attr1=value&attr2=value&attr3=value That way you can read and parse it using ActionScript. |
