Hi, I have an arcade that keeps all the info about the games in a mysql db.

How hard would it be to make a script that selected a random game from the db and created an image with the name, description and thumbnail for that game?

It's a relatively simple task assuming you know the GD functions already or are prepared to take a look at the PHP manual pages on the subject.

Would you need to make an image for it though? Also if so, it'd be best to store that image once it's made to save CPU of constantly re-generating the images.

I want to use it as a forum signature so it needs to be an image, I'll have a look at the GD library stuff today.

If I haven't got time to do this myself, how much should I be looking at if I was going to pay someone to do it?
